Pompeia has been commanded by the Empress to bring a disgraced senator to justice and she has no qualms about putting her unique talents to good use.
I liked the title and this could easily become a series a novels. (Easily? Easily writing a series of novels? Hmmm, you get what I mean.)

* Eye of the Empire
* The Bloodhound
* The Mind Thief
* The Dream Delver
But having written all those, I prefer yours.

This is technically set in the same world as the novel I have not-quite-abandoned, so there are elements I like, but I'm not interested in turning this into a lengthy piece. Still, some bits of it may find their way into something else I write.
